Every few months or a few times a year, I search eBay and other stores for the elusive Creative Sound Blaster Audigy with the Audigy Drive. The Creative Sound Blaster Live with the Live Drive is also sought after. Either is acceptable for me. The few times I have found them, they were well over priced or I didn’t have the cash to afford them.

A few weeks ago, I did my usual search and there it was. Still in the shrink wrap. The Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum EX. It was under $200. Without a second thought, I hit the Buy It Now button. Well, it has arrived. I’d like to invite you to join me in unboxing it.
